In The Time of Dawn
a Spring Equinox Hui
with Kumu Ramsay Taum
March 19th | 6am - 2pm | Pepe’ekeo, Hawai’i
After a dark night, the sun rises. After a stormy season, sunshine pours in. Spring reminds us of the spirit of faith. Of the resilience that is our very nature. As we sail in tumultuous tides, may we embody the teachings of Aloha. Stand up tall and steady, remembering our North Star. Planting seeds of love and nurturing our soils for many generations to come.
For Dawn is upon us. Let us rise.
On the day of the Spring Equinox
We welcome you to an intimate community day of prayer, wisdom share, and training — with our beloved Kumu Ramsay Taum — as we bring upon this new solar season.
True teachers, who walk their teachings and guide the way towards a life of embodied Aloha — are rare gems in our times.
For this reason we bow in deep gratitude to have Kumu with us on this most auspicious day. To bathe in the wisdom that pours through him, and his ancestral line as we come together in community. Making prayers to the lands of Hawai’i, and honoring the passage of time.
Hi’uwai • E Ala Ē • Equinox Ceremony • Breakfast Potluck • Kumu Wisdom Share • Lua Training • Springtime Celebrations

Let’s bring in this new season of life together. Let’s love our lands. Let’s cherish one another. Let’s sing, pray, study and dance. Let us live the world we dream of.
TOGETHER WE CAN
OUR FLOW
OUR FLOW
We Meet at Dawn
6am
And dive into the pools of Muliwai. Where the sweet waters meet the ocean in a loving embrace. There, amongst the Dragons of the East, we cleanse our bodies, our minds and our spirits as we Hi’uwai. Allowing the waters to wash us clean.
E Ala Ē
6:30am
The sun begins to rise and we chant up its ascent. With ancient sounds we awaken the fire within our bodies, rising up the sun within.
Equinox Ceremony
7am
Prayers are sung, offerings are made to the Spirit of the Springs, and the consciousness of Fertility. With clear vessels we give thanks, and set intentions for this new day. A new season begun.
We Shall Feast
8am
We now enjoy the fruits of the land and the abundance the earth provides. Bring a dish to share, and may we gratefully indulge in a delicious breakfast potluck feast.
Kumu Wisdom Share: The Visions of HA-WAI-I
10am
With our bellies full and our hearts rejoiced, we circle up outdoors by the fire as Kumu pours through important wisdom for our times. From Ho’oponopono principles to sharing forth big prayers for humanity and the role of Hawai’i… by focusing on the next 1000 years of peace which starts today.
Seeding the vision of a Pacific Global and Intergalactic Center and Institute of Peace and Healing hosted by the restored Hawaiian Kingdom in the HA-WAI-I.
Lua Training
12:30pm
After a short break, we come back together again. This time into our bodies through the practice of LUA — Hawaiian Battle Arts. Bringing all the teachings into embodied form. As we rise up like the sun, and stand tall like Kū — as his season, Kau, approaches.
Springtime Celebrations
2pm
As our training comes to an end, for those who wish to stay, we welcome a time of sweet community hang and celebration in honor of spring. Bring your instruments, arts and crafts, games, snacks, seeds to plant and whatever else lightens up your heart!

How do we stand tall, in unwavering trust, rooted in Aloha in the darkest of hours. How do we show up knowing the sun shall rise again, and that the greatest of storms are clearing the way, and nourishing the land, for what is to be, the most abundant of seasons.
Let’s greet the sunrise.
